Professional Goals and Objectives

I believe that in order to maintain the highest level of professionalism and knowledge to assist both customers and clients, continually attending education classes is a must.  In addition, it is important to seek opportunities for networking with leaders in my profession who serve as mentors to those agents whose goals are to be the best at what they do. To accomplish these goals, I commit a considerable amount of  time and money  each year to attending education courses throughout the United States so that I can stay up-to-date on changes in real estate including:

  • Learning how to better serve Buyers and Sellers needs
  • How to use the internet most effectively to market properties
  • Changes in real estate law that affect buying and selling of real estate
  • Changes in the economy, that affect real estate values and sales

Personal Interests and Involvement

  • I strive to continue my record of service as a member of numerous committees on the state and local levels of the REALTOR organization.
  • I am currently a member of Old Arlington, Inc., a group dedicated to the economic revitalization of West Arlington, as well as historic preservation in that area.
  • I also serve on several committees at my church, and I am a past chair of our Diaconate.
  • Hobbies include reading, needlework and oil painting.

My husband Buzz and I have been married for 50 years.  We have one daughter, Tanya, and her husband Ken Arnett, and three grandchildren Kaley, Kameron, and Kathryn.  When not selling real estate, I can usually be found playing with my grandchildren or attending their events such as swim meets, softball games, dance recitals and school plays.
